Youth Church Discipleship Curriculum
The 6 Disciplines of a Disciple is a biblical process for laying a foundation to becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. Youth Church has been focusing on 1 discipline each month while memorizing corresponding scriptures, and small group discussions.
1. Spend time with the master
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." - John 5:15
2. Live in the word
"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." -John 8:31-32
3. pray in faith
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you."
-John 15:7
-John 15:7
4. fellowship with believers
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
-John 13:34-35
-John 13:34-35
5. witness to the world
"This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples" - John 15:8
6. minister to others
"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" - John 15:13

ACKNOWLEDGE That you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
BELIEVE That Jesus died for your sins. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrated is love toward us that while we were still sinner, Christ died for us.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil:
For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Amen.
