Pastor Williams is the proud product of Brooklyn, NY. She currently serves as the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton in Bridgehampton, NY. Pastor Williams is the first woman to be elected to the office of pastor in the 100-year history of the church.
Fueled by faith and a burning desire to uplift others, Pastor Tish is a powerhouse on a mission. She dedicates her life to guiding individuals on their spiritual quests, nurturing mind, body, and soul.
A lifelong learner with a passion for knowledge, Pastor Tish is currently honing her skills at the prestigious Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. Her impressive academic background includes Theology and Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary, and conferred degrees in Practical Theology, and Philosophy from Wayland Baptist Theological Seminary.
Pastor Tish is a champion for women, a voice of strength and celebration. She's the mastermind behind Who's That Lady?, a global movement that honors the powerful women of the Bible through engaging studies, retreats, and conferences. Her passion extends far beyond words. Her commitment to empowering women extends to her work on the Women in Ministry Committee at Princeton Theological Seminary. In 2019, she partnered with Restoring Hopes Ministries to help launch the Miwani Primary School in Miwani, Kenya. This beacon of education and support empowers HIV positive children, offering them a brighter future.
However, her impact doesn't stop there! A prolific author, her debut book, "I See You, Sis: Inspirations from Heroic Women of the Bible Hidden in Plain Sight," became an instant Amazon bestseller. Her groundbreaking research continues to inspire with the creation of the Diagonal Preaching Method, a unique preaching framework she developed.
Pastor Tish's leadership extends far beyond the pulpit. She actively serves on the General Conference Council of the Missionary Baptist Conference, USA, and the Board of Regents for Wayland Baptist Theological Seminary. Her dedication extends to empowering girls through her involvement with I-tri, a non-profit organization, and nurturing young minds through her service on the boards of The Bridgehampton Childcare and Recreation Center and The Girl Scouts of America Suffolk County.
