Aligning our hearts with Christ as the center of our lives & faith.

Aligning our hearts with Christ as the center of our lives & faith.
Scriptures: Deuteronomy 5:33, James 1:22
Reflection: Obedience to God reflects our love for Him. It opens the door to His blessings and aligns us with His purpose.
Expanded Focus
Obedience is an act of worship that demonstrates our trust in God’s wisdom. Deuteronomy 5:33 emphasizes that obedience leads to life and blessings, while James 1:22 warns against merely listening to the Word without action. Imagine a builder who hears detailed instructions but ignores them—the structure will collapse. Similarly, when we fail to act on God’s Word, we miss the opportunity to grow and experience His best for us.
In the movie The Lion King, after running away from his responsibilities, Simba is reminded by his father, Mufasa, to "remember who you are." This call to obedience ignites Simba’s decision to return and fulfill his destiny as king. Like Simba, we often need a reminder to trust God’s instructions and act on them, even when it’s difficult.
Obedience is not always easy, but it is always rewarding. It strengthens our faith, aligns us with His purpose, and sets an example for others. Centering on obedience not only aligns our lives with God’s will but also deepens our relationships with others as we encourage one another to live according to His Word.

1. The specific area of obedience God calls me to act on today is: obeying the words of His Will to worship, trust, and believe in God.
n2. Obedience to God's word shapes my character by Honoring Him to be honored.
n3. Who can I encourage by sharing my journey to let the will of God be done? I can only share my journey of obedience to the will of God with the righteous ones of our Lord Christ Jesus. I may pray for others to be encouraged in obeying the Will of God's word to receive peaceful blessings from Him. __ Amen
