A Strong Finish
We are almost there BFB! After weeks of prayer, sacrifice, and seeking God’s presence, we’ve reached the final stretch of our With One Another Fast. I don't know about you but this journey has been filled with challenges, moments of deep reflection, and—most importantly—spiritual growth. As we enter this last week, let’s focus on finishing strong, ensuring that we don’t just end the fast but that we carry forward the transformation God has begun in us.
Pressing Through the Final Stretch
By now, you’ve likely felt both the blessings and the burdens of fasting. Maybe you started strong but faced moments of weakness along the way. That’s okay! The goal of this fast was never perfection—it was progress in your faith and a deeper connection with God.
The final week is where endurance meets purpose. The enemy may try to discourage you, telling you that your sacrifice wasn’t enough or that you haven’t “felt” different. But God’s work in us isn’t always something we feel immediately. Just as a seed grows beneath the soil before breaking through the surface, so is the work God is doing in your spirit. Don’t give up now—your breakthrough is near!
Key Reminders for the FINAL WEEK
Philippians 1:6 reminds us, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” The fast may be ending, but God’s work in you is not! Let’s finish strong, give Him our best in these final days, and step into the next season with renewed faith and purpose.
WE'RE almost there—keep pressing forward! ????
Let’s finish strong together! Listen to one of my favorite songs by Jonathan Nelson. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A STRONG FINISH BECAUSE WE HAVE STRONG FAITH!
Love you and there ain't nothing you can do about it!

- Stay Focused on the Goal
The fast was never about food, social media, or anything else we gave up—it was about making room for God. As we approach the finish line, let’s fix our eyes on Him (Hebrews 12:2). What has God revealed to you? What has He changed in your heart? Keep those lessons at the center of your prayers. - Lean Into Prayer and the Word
Fasting without prayer is just a diet! Use this final week to deepen your prayer life and spend more time in Scripture. Read passages about perseverance (Galatians 6:9, 2 Timothy 4:7) and let them fuel your commitment to finish strong. - Reflect on Your Growth
Take a moment to journal or meditate on what God has shown you over these weeks. What habits have you broken? What attitudes have changed? What has God called you to start doing differently? Reflection helps ensure that the lessons of the fast don’t fade when the fast is over. - Prepare for Life After the Fast
The goal isn’t just to finish; it’s to live differently after the fast. How will you continue prioritizing prayer, worship, and spiritual discipline? Make a plan now for how you’ll keep the fire burning beyond this season of fasting. - End with Thanksgiving
Whether this was your first fast or one of many, give thanks to God for sustaining you. Celebrate His presence, His strength, and His faithfulness. You didn’t make it this far on your own—God has carried you every step of the way!
