Day 1: Center on Christ's Love

Focus Area - CENTER
Aligning our hearts with Christ as the center of our lives & faith.

Scriptures: Ephesians 4:15-16, Matthew 6:33
Reflection: Christ’s love is the foundation of our faith. When we center on His love, we are reminded of His sacrifice and are called to love others as He loves.

Expanded Focus
Christ’s love is transformative. Ephesians 4:15-16 illustrates how growing in His love fosters unity within the body of Christ. When His love guides us, we reflect His character in our interactions with others. Matthew 6:33 encourages us to prioritize God’s kingdom, promising that everything else will align when He is first in our lives. Imagine a gardener who carefully nurtures the roots of a plant. Without strong roots, the plant cannot thrive. Similarly, when we root ourselves in Christ’s love, we nourish every area of our lives. This love empowers us to forgive, serve, and grow together as His followers.

In Beauty and the Beast, Belle’s love transforms the Beast from a self-centered creature into someone capable of kindness and sacrifice. Similarly, Christ’s love transforms our hearts, enabling us to reflect His grace to others.

Centering on Christ’s love helps us prioritize our relationship with God and encourages us to love one another deeply, strengthening our bonds within the community of faith.

Questions to Consider:
  1. How does focusing on Christ’s love transform your relationships?
  2. What steps can you take to seek God’s kingdom first today?
  3. In what ways can you reflect Christ’s love in your community this week?
