Day 4: Center on Faith
Focus Area - CENTER
Aligning our hearts with Christ as the center of our lives & faith.
Scriptures: Hebrews 11:1, 2 Corinthians 5:7
Aligning our hearts with Christ as the center of our lives & faith.
Scriptures: Hebrews 11:1, 2 Corinthians 5:7

Reflection: Faith enables us to trust in what we cannot see, knowing that God’s promises are sure and His plans are good.
Expanded Focus
Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance of things we do not see. This confidence allows us to trust God’s promises, even in uncertainty. 2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us to live by faith, not by sight. Imagine a tightrope walker stepping forward with unwavering trust in the rope’s strength. Similarly, our faith requires us to step into the unknown, trusting in God’s reliability. Faith is not the absence of doubt but the courage to trust God despite it. It grows through prayer, scripture, and seeing His faithfulness in our lives.
In Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indiana must take a leap of faith to cross an invisible bridge. Though he cannot see the path, he trusts in the instructions he has been given, and his faith is rewarded. Similarly, we must often take steps of faith, trusting God’s promises, even when the way forward is unclear. Centering on faith strengthens our trust in God’s sovereignty and inspires others in our community to rely on Him through our testimony of His goodness.
