Prayer Call: The Purpose of Prayer

Good Morning, BFB!

This is a day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today's scripture: “‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” -Jeremiah‬ ‭33‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jeremiah's ministry took place leading up to the Babylon exile. In chapter 33 God begins to reassure him and the people that He has a plan to restore them in spite of everything that was going on around them. Even in this season of trials, God tells Jeremiah that he can come to Him with all that he's carrying. Prayer is not only about seeking solutions but seeking God Himself.

We pray that as you go through this week, you reflect on your prayer lives. We pray that you are intentional in your prayers. That you will intentionally set the time aside to communicate with God. We pray that your prayers will help you to center and align yourself with God's purpose for you. Prayer changes things and most importantly, prayer changes you!
